Release explores surrender, movement, and emotional shift — the moment tension begins to soften and something held too tightly is finally allowed space to move. Rather than depicting release as a single act, the painting reflects the quieter process of loosening, unfolding, and gradual transformation.

Layered textures and shifting forms create a sense of motion throughout the work, suggesting both fragility and resilience. Areas of openness sit alongside denser marks and surfaces, holding a balance between containment and freedom. The painting invites reflection on what it means to let go, and on the emotional space that emerges afterwards.
