The piece captures the essence of duality, portraying the internal struggle of being pulled in opposite directions. Both sides are drawn away from each other, yet, ironically, they also turn away from the center, where love resides. The love stands at the heart of it all, the most vital part of life, yet it’s neglected as both forces face away, caught in the tension of their opposing pulls. This duality reveals the bittersweet nature of the conflict—two sides, torn and distant, missing the central truth that could bring them together.

The title came from a Cure song I was listening to!
