I wanted to illustrate how I had felt by painting an old fashioned sex doll. I wanted some reference images, but would not advise googling “old sex doll”!!

It’s challenging to put into words, but it’s this sensation of being objectified and reduced to a physical presence rather than being seen for my whole self. There were instances where I felt like my thoughts, emotions, and individuality were overlooked, and it left me feeling disconnected and dehumanized.

This just needs a plug socket near by and works with the light on and off.
