Escape in Blue is the second painting in a small exploration inspired by the idea of escape. Rather than depicting a physical place, the work became an escape into colour, light, and imagination. Created intuitively, it embraces a sense of playfulness, allowing abstract forms and vibrant colour relationships to emerge without expectation or constraint.

The bright blue ground creates a feeling of openness, while layered shapes, gold leaf, and resin introduce rhythm, texture, and moments of discovery. The painting celebrates the joy of creating freely and invites the viewer to pause, wander, and find their own sense of possibility within the composition.
