This painting represents all the parts of ourselves that we must embrace to become whole. We all carry shadows—fear, anxiety, past wounds—that can leave us feeling trapped or on edge. But instead of running from them, what if we welcomed them?

Gold leaf flickers through the roughness—glimpses of something cherished within the wreckage.

This piece is about no longer being afraid of the darkness within. It’s about seeing it, understanding it, and holding its hand rather than resisting it. Where I once felt fear, I now see depth. I embrace every part of me—the light and the dark—because together, they make me whole.
