This is the first painting from a new collection I am working on all about MASKS. Masks we hide behind, symbolism of masks, the influence of masks within modern art. This piece is about the literal wearing of masks that we now all need to do during this pandemic. This painting reflects how I have felt during this past year, but the light in the center shows us that we will be ok.
